Prenuply is now GoodTerms. Same company, new name, bigger plans.
GoodTerms is still owned and operated by Prenuply AI Inc., the Canadian company that created Prenuply. This is not a sale, merger, or change in ownership. We simply have a new public name that fits where we are going next.
If you knew us as Prenuply, you are in the right place. goodterms.ca is now our home.
Why the new name?
The Prenuply name fit us perfectly when prenups were our whole product. Prenups are still at the heart of our business, but they are no longer the whole story.
GoodTerms now helps Canadian couples prepare:
- Prenuptial agreement templates before marriage
- Postnuptial agreement templates after marriage
- Cohabitation agreement templates for common-law and unmarried partners
We are also exploring other guided, self-serve legal document tools that can make important paperwork feel a little less intimidating.
Prenuply described where we started. GoodTerms gives us more room to grow.
What changed, and what did not
The visible changes are simple:
- Our public brand is now GoodTerms.
- Our primary website is goodterms.ca.
The important things have not changed:
- GoodTerms remains owned and operated by Prenuply AI Inc.
- Prenups remain a core product.
- We remain focused on Canadian couples and Canadian agreement requirements.
- We provide document-preparation technology, not legal advice.
- Our templates remain a starting point for independent lawyer review, not a replacement for it.
You may still see the Prenuply name here and there while our new name settles in. Prenuply and GoodTerms are part of the same company story, and GoodTerms is our current brand.
Where GoodTerms is going
Our first priority is to keep improving our prenup, postnup, and cohabitation agreement experiences.
That means helping couples organize financial information, discuss expectations, prepare a personalized first draft, and arrive at independent lawyer review better prepared.
Over time, we plan to bring the same clear, guided approach to more self-serve legal document tools. We will grow carefully and keep our legal boundaries clear. GoodTerms is not a law firm and does not replace a lawyer or notary where professional advice or execution is required.
